Genesis Hall 

 Genesis Hall is a native of Chicago, IL, and a graduate from Illinois State University with a Bachelors in Science and Masters in Social Work Degree. She was proud to return to Illinois State University and serve as an instructor in the School of Social Work Department. She is an Author, Licensed Clinical Therapist, and Certified Wellness Coach. She is the owner and COO of Genesis A. Hall, LCSW Therapeutic Services.

 

She has served over 20 years in the social service field. Genesis is a skilled trauma-informed practitioner serving children, adults, and families through individual and family therapy services in her Generalist Clinical Private Practice in Central Illinois. She specializes in addressing trauma and adoptive family concerns. Genesis is on a mission to enlighten, impact, and encourage lives daily in a safe and fun environment. As a National Wellness Strategist Coach and speaker, she uses her story of navigating through life after enduring trauma and addressing unhealthy patterns giving her the tenacity to release over 100lbs to help others get “unstuck”.

 

Genesis is pioneering a movement of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and fitness (mentally, spiritually, relationally, and physically) through her services. 

 

Genesis received the honor of reigning as Ms. Illinois 2019 for the MMBA Pageant and as Ms. Black America 2019 for the USA Global Pageant. She used this platform to bring awareness to the impact of mental health concerns, bullying, wellness, and self-worth. She is a firm believer that our experiences, rather good or challenging, can profit humanity in some capacity.

 

She hopes to encourage every person who has ever been challenged with issues of self-worth, trauma, weight problems, and identity concerns to see the royalty within. She believes there is royalty inside every human being.
